Foraged Mendocino Abalone Pendant Necklace | Handcrafted Coastal Keepsake

A little piece of the Mendocino coast, transformed into wearable art.

This special pendant began as an abalone shell I personally foraged along the rugged Northern California coastline. I carefully buffed the shell to reveal its mesmerizing natural iridescence before preserving and strengthening it with a crystal-clear resin finish.

The result is a truly unique pendant that shifts with the light—flashing shades of lavender, rose, turquoise, silver, and seafoam green. No two abalone pieces are ever alike, making this necklace a wearable reminder of ocean tides, beach treasures, and the beauty found in nature’s imperfections.

The pendant hangs from an ultra-soft, comfortable black necklace cord, making it easy to wear every day.
